I like to place my characters in minimalist, uncluttered scenarios in which the fantastic is introduced to create stories that are offbeat, sometimes absurd, or even full of darkness and nostalgia. »

The musician from Touraine, whose name might suggest that she is Irish or one of J.R.R Tolkien’s elves, is not new to the music scene, as Erase my Memory is her third album. The artist takes us on a journey to a dreamlike, fantastical world, to musical lands beyond imagination. Always at the helm of her mixes, Nehl interweaves electronic sounds and symphonic instruments. If her influences appeal to you, don’t hesitate to immerse yourself in a spectacular, dark and intimate adventure film. We often fantasize about being able to erase our memories following a painful event, simply by pressing a button, as in the film “Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind”. That’s what this album, including I Wanna Run, is all about. Between electro-pop and cinematic orchestration, influenced by artists such as Björk, Tori Amos, Nine Inch Nails, Apparat and Woodkid, Nehl Aëlin has created an album that is sure to put you on the screen.
